Type Locality and Naming

Along the spring of Kutanbulak, South Nuratau. Yu.I. Loskin et al. in 1963 (1965), I.A. Pyanova et al., 1986 (371, p. 15). The stratigraphic name is not used.

Synonym: Kutanbulak Suite, Кутанбулакская св.


Lithology and Thickness

Metamorphosed slates, sandstones, siltstone (aleurolites), limestones. Thickness 200-250m. I.A. Pyanova et al. (371), Yu.I. Loskin et al. (1963, 1965, 1967)
